Farmax is a software-based system which plans and controls how you can effectively convert your pasture into profit. The software allows you to develop and compare farms and different scenarios, providing clarity in planning the most profitable way forward. The Pasture Growth Forecaster is an extension of the pasture features in Farmax. Currently in Farmax, you can record pasture growth to create plan and actual models of grass growth throughout the year. Farmax combined with the Pasture Growth Forecaster, gives you a highly accurate forecast of exactly what your farm is doing.
There is a suite of Farmax software for either Dairy or Sheep, Beef and Deer farmers, all based on 20 years of extensive scientific research.
Farmax FeedWedgeFarmax Feed Wedge will give you a visual representation of your current and forecast feed wedge to identify surpluses or deficits. Interactively in this same screen, you will be able to explore the effect on the forecasted wedge due to the removal of paddocks for conservation or crops, applications of nitrogen, changes in rotation lengths, animal numbers or post-graze residuals. A paddock allocation plan will be generated and you will be able to revise this plan to see the effect on the forecasted wedge and whether your targets will be met.
